Seller of Dot Money name for $90,000 once walked away from The Apprentice UK TV Show
#1
FRIDAY,19 JUNE 2015 The Domains
According to the news from Domain Forum of China on June 19th,Elliot Silver broke the news about a $90,000 .money sale. The seller Adam Freeman from Essex, was slated to be a contestant on the British version of The Apprentice before he quit. The Apprentice UK is produced by Mark Burnett the same producer of the U.S. version. Sir Alan Sugar is the Donald Trump of the U.K. version.

This was back in 2009 and after he quit The Guardian covered the story:

He’s been called a wannabe and a drop-out, but the 31-year-old businessman from Chigwell told the Guardian he decided to pull out after producers tried to pressure him into presenting himself as another Sir Alan.

He said he felt so uncomfortable with how he was being asked to act that it was an easy decision to walk away from the start of three months of filming in September to spend more with time wife his wife Joanna, 29, and daughters Sienna, three, and Peyton, one.

He said: “Some of the things that have been said are well wide of the mark. I think I have been stitched up a bit really.

The article goes on to say that Freeman, an entrepreneur made his first million by the age of 25 selling ringtones. He now runs a successful loans company which probably led to the interest in .money domains.

Adam said he signed an NDA but gave too much info in the article on Domain Investing, it was not hard to figure out the name, and while I was doing the research which took just a couple minutes, credit goes to Andrea Paladini who was first to comment that the name looks to be Transfer.money. Again we saw no paperwork but it looks like what Andrea posted was the name that was sold. Congrats to Adam on an excellent sale.
